It is a classic trend reversal pattern that emerges after a downtrend. The pattern forms with a strong downward movement, extending the preceding downtrend, followed by an upward rebound. Prices then decline from the previous peak area twice without breaking above it, reaching approximately the same previous low twice without breaking below it. Finally, a strong upward movement occurs, breaking above the peak area on the third attempt.
